Recreational Sunday takes place on the last Sunday of the month. Headway Staff invite Brain Injury Survivors who are single to spend the afternoon taking part in some form of recreation. Examples of activities undertaken are walks on the Tow Path,  visits to The Maze in Castlewellan, the cinema or badminton in the Sports Centre. After these activities an appetite is worked up so the evening ends with a bite to eat.
